MYBRA was founded in the year 1968 by Mr. A.N Radhakrishnan who was one of the pioneers of the intimate wear industry in India. The journey started with a humble beginning of just 3 sewing machines which he installed in the corner of his father’s hosiery factory at Kannur and has ever since grown in a very steady manner every year. Over its history of over 50 years MYBRA has grown to become one of the largest in South India with it’s headquarter in Bangalore. MYBRA sells a wide range of bra’s, panties, camisoles & shapewear as part of its product portfolio.
In 1982 a major part of the manufacturing was shifted from Kannur to Bangalore with a vision to create a strong brand presence in South India. This paid off and today MYBRA has three state of the art manufacturing facilities located in Bangalore & Kannur housing over 700 machines. In addition to this we have a fully integrated elastic manufacturing & dyeing unit which is one of its kind. This kind of infrastructure has helped us in catering to over 2500 retail outlets with ease. MYBRA has a strong domestic presence spread across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
MYBRA developed an international presence in the late 80’s. The first exports started to the U.A.E. and within the next 5 years MYBRA had representations in more than 8 countries including the U.K. and the U.S.A. In 2015 a separate entity Burnet Rose Lingerie Private Limited was incorporated with a special focus on the European and American markets manufacturing for high street brands. MYBRA is also one of the most sought-after brands across the GCC (Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates).
Today the legacy of Mybra continues under the able leadership of Milan Radhakrishnan & Rahul Milan Radhakrishnan. The whole team at Mybra today is focused on coming up with innovative solutions to meet the requirements of the modern-day woman and remaining the most sought-after intimate wear brand as it has since its inception.
Since inception MYBRA has strictly followed its policy of paying close attention to customer needs. The company continues to constantly innovate and adapt to latest trends enabling us to still remain market leaders in the segments we cater to. The company was the earliest to set up a plant to manufacture moulded seamless bra, the first to have the underwired bra and the cotton lycra bra. MYBRA strongly believes in uplifting women and henceforth 95% of our workforce today comprises of women.
